I am most humbly grateful to be recognized by my fellow artists and country.  The reason being, it validates that perhaps, in my own small way, I am making a difference in this incredible world of ours.

I believe in many things.  I believe God has a plan for us all and it is good.  I believe in helping those who cannot help themselves, whether they walk on two legs, four legs, or grace the sky above their wings.  I believe that all humans are entitled to dignity and respect.  I believe in love, and I believe that art is an expression of the soul.  My soul is eternally joyful and so honored by this award.
